This month’s Employee Spotlight is highlighting Cory Hood, our Conference Services Attendant. Cory’s primary responsibility is to complete the room configurations for all of our meetings and events. In addition to making sure furniture is set up neatly and correctly, Cory also completes cleaning and sanitizing duties in each space prior to the event. He handles furniture and equipment inventory and advises our team on room capacities and spacing. Cory was instrumental in helping us prep the Conference Center for social distancing and COVID capacities as well as preparing the Cameron Campus for the return of students, faculty and staff post quarantine. Cory has been a valuable part of our team since 2017. When Cory isn’t working he enjoys playing video games, spending time with his daughter and enjoying one of his favorite foods- pizza!
