On March 23, The Conference Center at GTCC hosted Triad Business Journal’s aviation panel discussion. Over 100 guests attended the event with panelists from the aviation industry who discussed the promise of attracting more aviation companies to the Piedmont Triad International Airport, as well as providing training facilities for future employees.
The BB&T Oak Ridge Room was set with round tables for guests, and a Traditional Continental Breakfast and Greek Yogurt Bar was served in the Pre-Function space. The panelists sat in high-back chairs, surrounded by decorative palm trees, and were equipped with lapel microphones for the panelists, as well as having hand-held microphones available for audience questions. Dr. Anthony Clarke, GTCC President, was there to share plans to expand the college and build a new 100,000 sq. ft. Aviation Training Facility.
