On March 27, approximately 150 Guilford County high school students attended the “Next Steps to Success” Hiring Event, sponsored by Guilford County Schools’ Career and Technical Education program.
The students began their day in the Auditorium, listening to presentations about career pathways. After taking a short break to have a boxed lunch, provided by our exclusive catering partners, Plain & Fancy Caterers, the students prepared to meet with prospective employers.
Approximately 48 representatives from local businesses, industries, and government agencies set up information tables throughout our Pre-Function Space and Front Circle Lobby areas, so students could gather information about possible employment opportunities. The open Pre-Function space allows for ample spacing between tables, ensuring comfortable traffic flow.
