On April 27, the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium (PTEC) held a luncheon to recognize administrative assistants working in the local education sector.
The Pre-Function Area was set for 40 guests, with seven round tables and table linens. The dining service area included stainless buffet tables for food and beverage. House music was played softly in the background.
Guests started their meal with a Salad of Crisp Wild Greens, with Sliced Granny Smith Apples, Strawberries, Spicy Walnuts, and Feta Cheese, with a Citrus Herb Vinaigrette dressing.
The main entrées were Peppercorn-Encrusted Sliced Top Round of Beef with a Mushroom Merlot Sauce and Sautéed Breast of Chicken with Peas, Asparagus, and Roasted Cipollini Onions in a Lemon Cream Sauce.
Side dishes were an Herb Grilled Fresh Vegetable Platter with Fresh Olive Oil and an aged Balsamic Drizzle and Creamy Mashed Potatoes. A decadent Blueberry Cheesecake Bar for dessert completed the menu.
