What better way to kick off the New Year than by saying “Thanks” to your customers and employees! Piedmont Triad Airport Authority did just that with a Customer Appreciation Luncheon in January. The intimate event was planned for about 85 guests and included a beautiful lunch buffet spread, which was set up in our sunny Front Circle Reception space.
Banquet seating was available for guests inside the Truist Oak Ridge rooms, and the luncheon event included prize drawings and a special speech to say thank you. What we loved about this event was the custom menu chosen by the client. The lunch buffet started with a spinach salad with hard-boiled egg, shaved red onion, and crumbled bacon, served with a crisp red wine vinaigrette dressing. The dual entrees included peppercorn encrusted sliced top round of beef with a mushroom merlot sauce and grilled Atlantic salmon fillet with a champagne dill sauce. These delicious entrees were accompanied by wild rice pilaf with fresh herbs, a sauteed fresh vegetable medley with lemon butter sauce and steamed broccoli to include a cheddar cheese sauce on the side. Fresh rolls with butter completed the meal. No one could leave hungry! The client kept it classic with a dessert of assorted cookies and triple fudge brownies. You just can’t go wrong with that choice. While salmon is not currently on our menu, this is a great example of how we can customize your menus with our expert caterer and tailor your menu with blended flavor profiles.
