The Conference Center at GTCC Volunteers at Out of the Garden Project
On January 3, 2024, our sales team volunteered their time on the High Point Campus of GTCC to assist in packing and distributing meats, vegetables, deli items, breads, etc. to residents of Guilford County with food insecurities. GTCC’s Titan Link program has partnered with The Out of the Garden Project, who is the “independent leader in feeding families in the Piedmont Triad of NC.”
Their Fresh Mobile Markets are free mobile food pantries that distribute food to families. According to the Director of Titan Link, we provided meals for 109 families and gave out 6,866 pounds of food! This was a rewarding and fun opportunity outside of the office that allowed us to serve the community alongside our GTCC colleagues.
