Although December was a short month for The Conference Center due to the winter break, a wide variety of events were hosted over the first two weeks.
The NC Cyber Academy held fall testing for students in our classroom spaces, Piedmont Triad Education Consortium hosted their monthly Professional Development workshops and “Job Alike” meetings in The Conference Center and The Clubhouse, and local educators gathered for full day sessions in the Auditorium and multiple breakout rooms. The NCSU Tax School held its annual training in the Auditorium, with over 150 participants attending the two-day event.
Several corporate clients held their end of year meetings and celebrations with us as well. Syngenta, the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors, H&R Block, as well as multiple local transportation companies brought over 300 attendees to our campus. One of our regular corporate clients used the BB&T Oak Ridge Rooms for their holiday luncheon and brought beautiful poinsettias to use as table decorations and to give away to their participants.
One of our clients, Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine (TAPM), held their year-end celebration in the BB&T Oak Ridge Rooms.
