On May 25, 2023, over 140 participants affiliated with the area of workforce development attended the Golden LEAF Foundation event to network and discuss ways to increase economic opportunity in North Carolina’s rural, tobacco-dependent, and economically distressed communities. Over the half-day meeting, participants listened to general session presentations and attended breakout sessions focused on specific priority areas and developing opportunities for funding them. General and breakout sessions were held in the Auditorium, Business Resource Center, and Classrooms 130 and 131.
At their networking/lunch break in the Pre-Function area, “topics” were placed on each dining table to help facilitate the discussion. You can find more creative ideas for engaging your event participants in Practical Solutions to Engage Your Meeting Guests, this month’s blog post
A Traditional Continental Breakfast, Beverage Service, and Boxed Lunches was provided by our Catering Partner, Plain & Fancy Caterers.
