This month, we are featuring our Classroom spaces and the ways they can be utilized to meet a variety of client needs.
The Conference Center at GTCC has three classroom spaces – Rooms 130, 131, and 132 – that offer bright, open spaces and audio-visual capabilities for meetings, training sessions, and other events.
When rooms are set in a traditional classroom setting, Rooms 130 and 131 can accommodate 32-38 people, and Room 132 can accommodate up to 40 people.

Here are a few examples of other ways that clients have utilized these spaces:

The wall between Classrooms 130 and 131 may be opened to provide larger meeting spaces and assist with better traffic flow for larger groups. When a college night for Guilford County students was held, the walls of Classrooms 130 and 131 were opened to provide the ability for guests to more easily move throughout The Conference Center. Twenty-six college information tables were arranged in this area in small and large “U” shape groupings.

Classroom 132 was used as a “hospitality room” for college admission representatives. This location was a perfect place for the representatives to take a quick break, as it was located away from the general event traffic areas. Several “PODS” of classroom tables with rolling chairs were clustered throughout the room, and the catering area was set in the corner.

If you are looking for a location that offers flexibility in space use, then look no further to The Conference Center at GTCC. Call us at (336) 819-2052 to discuss options.
