Recently we hosted the Triad Business Journal for a “Future of Healthcare” panel discussion in our Truist Oak Ridge Room and a breakfast served in the Pre-Function space. The panel welcomed healthcare executives from Cone Health, Randolph Health, Atrium Health Wake Forest, and Novant Health to discuss the future of the healthcare industry as well as the challenges the industry is facing.
The Truist Oak Ridge Room is a flexible meeting and event space which will accommodate a maximum headcount of 180 guests at banquet round tables. For this event, the room was set to seat 136 guests at 17 banquet rounds with 8 seats at each. The space is also divisible up to 4 ways, with the ability to change the walls to create additional smaller spaces to seat up to 81 guests (half) or 40 guests (single quadrant). This flexibility offers maximum potential for a multitude of logistics and breakout sessions for your meeting or conference.
The panel participants were seated on ergonomic high-back stools with glass and stainless cocktail tables in between to hold water and speaking notes. The moderator of the panel, Lillian Johnson of Triad Business Journal, stood at a podium next to the panelists. The Conference Center at GTCC offers multiple seating options for panel discussions to include rolling and non-rolling high-back stools and seated “club style” chairs for more of a “fireside chat” aesthetic. Depending on your room configuration, a floor riser can be added to elevate your panel participants when needed. The floor risers can be configured to best accommodate the number of participants in your panel.
Breakfast was served to the group in the adjacent Pre-Function Space, which offers round table seating for up to 134 guests. Stainless buffet tables offered delightful breakfast goodies to include assorted bagels with a choice of cream cheeses and a yogurt bar with toppings in addition to seasonal cut fruit. The space also offers flexible configuration options to accommodate up to 3 smaller breakout or training rooms, each equipped with integrated Audio-Visual technology. For additional convenience and comfortability, the Pre-Function Space offers casual seating areas which are great for your participants to network with colleagues or take a break from the conference or meeting to catch up on emails or take a call.
